Two years ago, in September 2022, we sat down with an almost blank page and a simple but profound question: What can we build that truly matters?

The world we knew was already starting to dissolve. With the rise of Stable Diffusion, BERT, and the early whispers of GPT-3, we sensed a storm coming—a revolution disguised as a technological toy. But while some waited for the clouds to clear, we decided to dance under the storm.

We started Flipando.ai—a no-code platform built with one clear mission: to democratize AI. We didn’t just want people to use AI; we wanted them to play with it, build with it, flip their creative limits, and flow into new possibilities.

From kids creating their first AI projects to startups launching their dream apps, we saw over 600 users from more than 20 countries flip their wildest ideas into reality. For a while, it felt like magic.

But as the months passed, a question started to creep in during those quiet, late-night moments:

Are we really solving a deep, painful problem? Or are we just building a shinier, better toy?

We couldn’t ignore that question.

So, in December 2023, despite having active users, some revenue, and a product people were excited about, we made a bold choice: we pivoted.

Not because we were failing, but because we were listening. Not because the product wasn’t working, but because it wasn’t working on the right problem.

And when clarity knocks, you answer the door.

🛠️ Flipando Became FlipFlow: From Playing with AI to Automating Workflows

We took a step back, paused the noise, and started listening—deeply listening—to our customers and ourselves. By mid-2024, we emerged as FlipFlow—an agentic workflow automation platform focused on solving complex legal workflows.

Why legal? Because we felt it ourselves. Even without a huge business at the time, we found ourselves drowning in contracts, administrative tasks, and endless legal jargon. How could something so critical still be so inefficient and time-consuming?

So we flipped it. We built workflows that could automate decisions, adapt to complex legal tasks, and actually help us and businesses breathe easier.

It felt impactful. It felt smart. But something was still missing.

We noticed a pattern: the workflows that clients cared about the most, the ones they’d call us about at midnight if something broke, were always related to compliance.

Because compliance isn’t just about following rules—it’s about trust, clarity, and peace of mind in a chaotic world. It’s about knowing you’re standing on solid ground while everything around you shifts and shakes.

So, we flipped again.

Not out of failure, but out of focus.

Speed is Our Superpower: Every pivot taught us something faster than any market research could. Build, test, fail, learn, repeat—that’s the flow.

Follow Your Gut, But Stay Honest: Be honest with your clients, your investors, your team, and—most importantly—yourself. If something feels off, talk about it, act on it, and don’t bury it under optimism.

Agility Doesn’t Mean Incompleteness: Moving fast doesn’t mean cutting corners. Every experiment must reach its end goal—no half-baked deliveries, no passing the baton.
